How to use your phone as a webcam

Here are the steps to using your phone as a webcam for webinars:

1. Download a webcam app on your phone

2. Connect your phone to your computer.

You can connect your phone with WiFi or by using a USB cable. With EpocCam, you need to download an app on your phone and on your computer to connect both devices. After you’ve done this, you are able to set up your phone camera as a webcam. 

3. Open your webcam app on your phone

Once you've downloaded and installed the app, open it on your phone and follow the instructions to connect your phone to your computer. Once it's all set up, you’ll see that the camera feed of your phone camera is displayed on your computer! 

4. Adjust your settings

Finally, you’ll need to test the video quality of your phone camera as a webcam. You can do this by setting up a test call with a friend or family member. If the video looks good, you’re all set. 5. Start a test webinar 

Once you've adjusted your settings, you're ready to go. Create a test webinar and see how it looks! Open the webinar on your computer, and select EpocCam in your camera settings. You should be able to see yourself in the video feed.
