Rockefeller center the outside of the new WebinarGeek office space.

WebinarGeek, leading webinar software, announced today the opening of its new office in New York marking the launch of its physical presence in the US.

The global webinar market grew by 91% in 2021. Showing an increase in the demand for easy-to-use webinar software. Led to accelerated customer growth for the Dutch webinar platform, WebinarGeek, recognizing its potential for the North-American market.

Supporting this shift is the expansion to a New York office. Improving customer support for American clients.

New York is known for its rising startup culture, as well as being one of the top destinations to find talent and a vibrant IT industry. In its first year, WebinarGeek plans to hire five people in sales and success management.

“We have opened an office in NYC because I strongly believe in local presence in a growth market. To learn more about our prospects and customers and their specific needs to find our product market fit in the United States,” says Remco Treuren, CEO at WebinarGeek. “It also creates a bond of trust. And another very important thing, it will help us to cover another timezone for our first class customer support”

Growth in North America without venture capital backing

On the day they signed the lease, WebinarGeek celebrated its milestone of receiving 100 American customers. It’s remarkable that this expansion to America has received no additional venture capital funding. Embracing the American dream, which many entrepreneurs strive to achieve. This work has also been recognized by the Netherland America Foundation presenting WebinarGeek an award for Best Entry into the US. WebinarGeek anticipates the office to develop steadily over the next two years.

Office located in Manhattan

Located in historic landmark Rockefeller Center is a flexible workspace Studio by Tishman Speyer. Rather than a traditional office space, WebinarGeek acquired a private office in a flexible co-working space with superior amenities. Located on the 19th floor with views over the avenue of the Americas (6th ave). The Studio hosts special events, provides access to shared areas, and facilitates networking.
