Kingfisher scanning for food

A kingfisher sits perched on a tree branch, its bright blue and orange feathers gleaming in the sunlight. Its sharp eyes are scanning the water below, searching for signs of movement or any indication of a potential meal. Every now and then, it dips its head down, its long, thin beak plunging into the water to snatch up a fish or other small aquatic creature.
